Taylor’s goal is always to create seamless looking skin whether the client’s preference is a light or full coverage look, and so she is a skincare fanatic as well!
While we LOVE and are very focused on skincare, we also acknowledge that sometimes a little something extra can help to boost our spirits and our confidence. Here are Taylor’s tips on nailing some of the toughest makeup techniques with strategic and masterful use of skincare.
TIP #1:
For a glowing and dewy look, apply Eighteen B’s Hydrate + Restore Rich Cream on the high points of the face where you want the most sheen pre-makeup.
If your foundation or concealer is looking a bit more matte then you prefer, using the Hydrate + Restore Rich Cream first creates a dewy base to counteract the matte products.

TIP #2:
To ensure products don’t run or crease beneath the eyes, apply your Defend + Nourish Eye Cream a bit lower where you can feel the bone rather than too close to the lash line, and blend the product out. You also won’t need as much powder!

TIP #3:
My favorite trick to cleaning up eyeshadow fallout is using a Q-tip and little bit of Defend + Nourish Silk Eye Cream and wiping the product away. I prefer this technique over using makeup remover because you’re also hydrating the eye area for concealer while cleaning it up!

TIP #4:
Creating matching “cat-eye” liners is actually not as hard as you think. Create your lines and clean up the shape with a tapered flat square brush or angle brush and a small amount of Defend + Nourish Eye Cream saturated into the brush hairs.

Voila!

We hope you enjoyed these tips and tricks from Taylor Fitzgerald as much as we did. Tune into HERE to Taylor’s IG feed where there is much more where this came from.
