It is our top priority to use only clean and safe ingredients in our product prototypes. This is why all ingredients used at the Beebe Lab are:
●Scored 0-4 in the EWG’s Skin Deep database
●Vegan
●Fragrance free
●Safe (i.e. Rigorously tested and screened for chemical hazards using sophisticated toxicology tests and tools)
Ingredients we do not formulate with
We have removed +1,500 ingredients from our formulating tool box. Below is just a short list of the categories of materials we do not formulate with.
● Parabens
● Fragrance
● Formaldehyde
● Heavy metals
● Hydroquinone
● Mineral oils and petrolatums***
● Paraffin
● Phthalates
● Siloxanes
● Triclosan
Moreover, we avoid formulating with hazardous carcinogenic, mutagenic, toxic for reproduction, and endocrine disrupting ingredients (aka: CMRs and EDs). Learn more about CMRs and EDs here.
